A Day in the Life of a Multimodal Transportation Engineer
As a Multimodal Transportation Engineer, you help design safer, more sustainable transportation networks. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver multimodal projects, from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects, using tools like AutoCAD to produce high-quality plans. You manage tasks and small projects, coordinate with clients, and contribute to everything from feasibility studies and concept plans to construction documents. Your work helps make communities more connected and livable.
Work Schedule for a Multimodal Transportation Engineer
This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home up to two days per week. The Los Angeles office of Toole Design is conveniently located within walking distance from the Metro A, B, D, and E Lines, Metro Bike Share, and dozens of bus lines. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.
We are targeting a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 for this position.
