Position Summary
The Safe Routes Partnership is seeking a Technical Assistance Manager who can turn ideas into action for safer, healthier, and more active communities. At the Safe Routes Partnership, “technical assistance” means helping communities achieve transformational change they couldn’t accomplish alone. It means breaking down ambitious goals into actionable steps tailored to a community’s needs, and providing the coaching and support to make those goals a reality.
In this role, you will deliver technical assistance primarily via phone, email, and video calls; lead trainings (web-based and in-person); guide planning processes; and create engaging written materials that help schools, districts, and states advance Safe Routes to School, active transportation, and equity goals.
We are seeking someone with proven experience in Safe Routes to School or active transportation planning, ideally at the school, district, or state level, and who can communicate with impact. If you excel at building relationships, translating technical concepts into clear language, and producing high-quality reports, case studies, and public-facing resources, we would love to hear from you.
