Transportation Planner

Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) is seeking an experienced Transportation Planner to lead as our project manager for the newly established Safe Streets & Roads for All (SS4A), Countywide Safety Action Plan (CSAP). The position will focus primarily on this program, currently funded for a large supplemental planning and demonstration award, to implement the Safe Systems Approach in partnership with several Lorain County communities, including but not limited to Avon, North Ridgeville, Lorain, Oberlin, and Elyria. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with municipalities and local governments, particularly in the context of transportation safety, and will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects in our plans, alongside partners.
