Planning Supervisor

The City of Rochester, Minnesota is looking for a Planning Supervisor to help lead planning and zoning work in a fast-changing, growing community. This position manages planning staff, supports complex development review, advances ordinance and policy work, and helps implement the City’s Comprehensive Plan through development review, special studies, and small area planning.

For APBP members, Rochester offers a particularly interesting professional context. The city’s Active Transportation Plan, adopted in October 2022, guides future investments in walking and biking and is intended to foster a safer, healthier community with accessible connections between businesses, neighborhoods, schools, and other destinations.
